CAMP MASTER TRAINING

The Camp Master course is taught once or twice a year at Camp Raven Knob. Almost every weekend of the year, volunteer adult scout leaders stay at Camp Raven Knob to perform the duties of "Camp Master".  Basically the "Camp Master" is an Assistant Camp Ranger from Friday evening through Sunday evening.  They assist the Ranger with monitoring and controlling facility access and maintenance.

The purpose of the course is to train interested adult Scouters in camp policies and procedures.  It is typically conducted at CRK, and usually only takes a few hours.

The Camp Master program is coordinated through the council Camping Committee and the Camp Ranger.  Look at the Raven Online for more information, or look at the Training Events page for the next scheduled class.
