Council loses long-time registrar, Jewel Dotson

     We just received word that our long-time council Registrar, Jewel Dotson, passed away today at her home near King.  She was 70 years old.  Jewel  served as a dedicated Old Hickory Council employee for 36 years.
     Arrangements are unknown at this time – we will let you know when that information is available.
Condolences may be sent to 1932 W. Westmoreland Rd., King, North Carolina  27021
     Our deepest sympathy and prayers go out to Jewel’s family.

     There will be a memorial service for Jewel at the Old Hickory Council Scouting Center on Saturday, July 12th, from 2 to 4 p.m.
