Exploring

Exploring is a division of the Boy Scouts of America (a Learning for Life subsidiary) for young men and women aged 14 through 20.  Explorers meet two to three times monthly in Explorer Posts.  Explorer Posts can be organized by businesses, industries, churches, schools, civic clubs, and other community organizations.  These posts specialize in career or recreational programs.

Some examples of Explorer Posts are those in Law Enforcement, fire fighting, Radio Broadcast, Medical, High Adventure, Veterinary Science, Newspaper/Journalism and Aviation.  Opportunities for Explorers include local council activities, statehood conventions, and gatherings, and National Explorer Congress.
