Generations Connection - Has Scouting Made Your Family Stronger? Share Your Story Here Many understand the BSA’s significant role in shaping the character of the youth who participate in Scouting. There is also an important story to tell about the positive impact Scouting has on the entire family. For 100 years, Scouting has provided an outlet for families to build a strong foundation in shared activities and values. In many families, the experience of Scouting is so meaningful that a tradition is handed down from generation to generation. Some families who are experiencing Scouting for the first time know it is something so meaningful they will share it again and again as their family grows. If Scouting has made your family better and stronger – you are a Generational Scouting Family and, we’d like you to let us know!
