OUTDOOR LEADER SKILLS FOR WEBELOS TRAINING

Camping is a cornerstone of the Webeloes Scout program.  Boys are eager to camp with their den in the great outdoors.  This places a great obligation on the Webeloes den leader to make this experience exciting, uplifting, fun, and memorable.

Outdoor Leader Skills for Webeloes Leaders training is designed to help leaders learn how to provide a memorable camping experience for their Webeloes Scouts and parents or guardians.

The training has been designed to be conducted as a part of the Boy Scout Introduction to Outdoor Leaders Skills training.  In a combined Webeloes den leader and Boy Scout leader training event, all participants will be together for the beginning of selected skills presentations, then split out for information relating specifically to their different programs.

Interested adult leaders are requested to pre-register at least one week in advance of the event, cost is $25.  This allows the course staff to better prepare for your arrival and stay at Camp Raven Knob.  This time also gives the participant time to get together the required packing list items.  It is important for everyone to "hold up their end" of the training  to ensure a quality training event for all.  The uniform for the event is Class A.
