Wood Badge SR-520

Course Dates: August 13, 14 & 15 and August 28, 29, & 30.

Location: Camp Raven Knob

Course Cost: $130.

SR-520 will be the second time the Old Hickory Council Training Committee has taught the 21st Century Wood Badge Course. It is open to all Scouters who have completed their program's specific training.

The Wood Badge course is conducted over two 3-day weekends. The first weekend is all day Friday-Sunday; the second weekend is all day Saturday through Monday. Like the previous format used, Wood Badge offers a number of team and leadership skills that apply not only to Scouting, but also to everyday life and work. The first weekend is more conference oriented, whereas the second weekend will be focused around a low impact camping experience.
	The maximum number of participants attending a Wood Badge course is limited to 48. This makes it very important to sign-up early. More details will appear here in the coming months.
