OHC Alumni

OHC BSA Alumni is the alumni group for the Old Hickory Council and includes Eagle Scouts, Scouting Alumni, and affinity groups (Raven Knob Staff Alumni, Woodbadge Alumni, National Eagle Scout Association members, and High Adventure Base alumni) 

Our mission is to support alumni in the Old Hickory Council and to facilitate their engagement with Scouting. We connect through family-friendly social events, community service, and reunions.

Currently the OHC BSA Alumni Committee is recruiting volunteers to support the following initiatives:

• Merit Scholarship & Award Administration | Promote scholarships for collegebound BSA alumni and give recognition to alumni involved in impactful work in local communities. 

• Social Events, Service Project & Scout Reunion Planning | Promote and plan innovative programs to bring BSA Alumni together for service, learning, and fellowship. 

• Mentoring & Career Development | Facilitate opportunities for BSA Alumni to promote their careers, develop business opportunities, and assist each other during career transitions.

• Eagle Scout Alumni Programming | Promote and plan opportunities for networking and reunion events across the Old Hickory Council.

• Communications | Help tell the story of Scouting and showcase BSA Alumni throughout Northwest North Carolina.
