Seven Rivers Cub Day Hike The District 4

Day Hike the District #4   Aug. 2nd  8am to Noon.

Alleghany County Featuring Sam Brown Park.

In our Final Adventure into Seven Rivers District, we visit Sam Brown Park in the highlands of Alleghany County. We will check in at 8 am but no later than 9 am...Starting at 9 am we will meet and discuss safety. After that we will begin our hike. Breathe in the Mountain Air and Beauty of Sparta.

You will want to bring a frisbee for a 3 hole Disc Golf Challenge.   Sounds like a great way to spend an early summer morning.

( NO Bare Feet Or Flip Flops)

All Day Hikes will conclude by 12pm

The Cost for youth and adults is $5 per person which includes the event Puzzle Patch, bottle water for the hike, and a trail snack.

Note: Event patches will be distributed in the fall at Round Table or Mailed to your Unit Leader in September. Each patch for our adventures are specific to that county and when put together complete a puzzle. In order to complete the puzzle you must register for all four events.
