Motorboating Merit Badge

The Old Hickory Council is excited to offer Motorboating Merit Badge to scouts from the OHC. Please review all details below, if you are ready to register, please do so in the link below. Act quick, as there are only 15 spots available. Both weekends are required. Cost of the event is $35 which includes the manuals required. 

Day #1: Saturday, May 10th at Old Hickory Council Service Center from 8:30am-6:00pm. This first day will be filled with the Americas Boating Course that requires indoor classroom training prior to getting on the water. Scouts will need to pack a lunch. All that complete the classroom portion will get a NC Boating Licenses/ABC-3 card. 

Day #2: Saturday, May 31st at Raven Point in Lexington, NC on High Rock Lake from 9:00am-4:00pm. This day will be the on water portion of the program. This will cover launching and trailering, fueling, emergencies, and maneuvering on the water. Scouts will need to pack a lunch.
