Old Hickory Council National Jamboree Contingent Information
Follow the Old Hickory Council contingent to Jamboree 2026.
AT THIS TIME, OUR 2026 JAMBOREE CONTINGENT IS FULL. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN JOIN, PLEASE JOIN THE WAITING LIST BELOW.
Join other members of the Old Hickory Council as we take on the National Jamboree in 2026. Unite with an estimated 20,000 scouts from around the world at the Summit in West Virginia for all the high adventure opportunities scouting can offer.
The Old Hickory Council contingent will be made up of 20 participants, 2 of whom should be adult leaders. All National Jamboree participants must be at least 12 years old either on, or before, the first day of the Jamboree. The Old Hickory Council will be taking a boy troop only, those interested in a girl troop will need to register with Mecklenburg Council directly.
Any adult leaders that are interested in attending need to contact Hunter Day directly.
Dates: July 22-31, 2026
Where: Summit Bechtel Reserve in Glen Jean, West Virginia
Cost: $2,100
Jamboree Shakeown: June 20-21, 2026 at Camp Raven Knob
Your cost will include:
- Transportation to and from the Summit
- National Fee to the National Jamboree
- Jamboree Training & Shakedown Events
- Customized Old Hickory Council National Jamboree duffle bag
- National Jamboree Day Pack
- 3 Old Hickory Council contingent t-shirts
- 3 sets of OHC Jamboree patches
- 2 sets of unit number patches
- Food & cooking equipment, tent, cot
Payment Schedule: (If you register after one of the deadlines, please add the missed payments to the next due.)
- $300 Deposit Due Below
- $600 Due on June 1st ($900 Total Paid)
- $600 Due on October 1st ($1,500 Total Paid)
- $600 Due on January 1st ($2,100 Total Paid)
