2025 Membership Renewal

Renewing your Scouting Membership Registration 

  • All Scouting America member registrations are for 12 months

  • Scouting America will send email notifications at 60, 30, 15, and 7 day intervals prior to your registration expiration date. A direct link will be included.   

  • Adult volunteers and parents of youth can renew and pay online through My.Scouting.org, My Application, My Renewals

  • Youth renewals must be done by the parent(s) connected to them in My.Scouting.  If you get an access  error, please contact the council Registrar to be sure the youth and parent profile information is accurate. 

  • Renew your Scout Life Magazine subscription at the same time! Unclick the default check to remove the subscription on the payment screen.

  • If you see an existing Initiated Renewal, choose Withdraw Renewal and Start Renewal again

  • Remove any multiple positions that you are not continuing

  • Units have the option to renew registrations for volunteers and families if needed. 

  • Member registrations can also be renewed at the council office by the Registrar. 

  • Youth who need financial assistance or use Medicare benefits to pay for registration fees must be renewed by the council Registrar. Ask your unit leader for the required form.
