Old Hickory Council National Jamboree Contingent Information

Join other members of the Old Hickory Council as we take on the National Jamboree in 2026. Unite with an estimated 20,000 scouts from around the world at the Summit in West Virginia for all the high adventure opportunities scouting can offer. 

The Old Hickory Council contingent will be made up of 20 participants, 2 of whom should be adult leaders. All National Jamboree participants must be at least 12 years old either on, or before, the first day of the Jamboree. The Old Hickory Council will be taking a boy troop only, those interested in a girl troop will need to register with Mecklenburg Council directly. 

Any adult leaders that are interested in attending need to contact Hunter Day directly. 

Dates: July 22-31, 2026

Where: Summit Bechtel Reserve in Glen Jean, West Virginia

Cost: $2,100

Jamboree Shakeown: June 20-21, 2026 at Camp Raven Knob
